AislingTransmedia

Transmedia rights house · Dublin

Curated literary IP for screen & audio adaptation.

Independently published work, verified and listed for film, audio rights and television. A considered list. Not a slush pile.

Manuscript pages, a fountain pen, and a film slate on a walnut table in late light.

Rights we place

Every form a story can take.

You choose what is on the table. We do not bundle what you have not offered.

  • Film & television

Feature, limited series, and returning series. We option cleanly and keep the chain of title tidy.

  • Audio

Audiobook, scripted podcast, and audio drama. Independent work often travels first as a voice.

  • Stage

Theatre, opera, and live adaptation. For stories that want a room and a hush.

  • Translation

Foreign-language edition rights, territory by territory, with a publisher who will actually print it.

  • Merchandising

Characters, worlds, and marks — licensed with care, never as an afterthought.

  • Interactive

Games, immersive, and digital narrative. The book as a place you can walk through.

How it works

Three movements. No reading fee.

  1. 01

    Submit

Authors sign in and send the work: logline, synopsis, screen form, rights on offer, and proof it is independently held.

  2. 02

    Consider

We read for adaptation — not only literary merit. We verify chain of title. A small list. If it is not for us, we say so.

  3. 03

    Represent

Accepted work is listed for producers. We negotiate option and purchase. You keep copyright. We take a commission when a deal closes.

For producers

Discover IP, already cleared.

Feature, limited series, returning series. Every listed title has a verified chain of title, a rights map, and a named contact at the house. Inquire from the page. Request the manuscript.

Questions, plainly.

  • Who can submit?+

We specialise in independently published authors and rights holders who retain control of the rights they are offering.

  • Do I give up copyright?+

No. You appoint us to represent specified rights — typically film and television — for a defined term. The book remains yours. Every deal needs your written approval.

  • Is there a reading fee?+

Never. Aisling Transmedia is paid a commission only if an option or sale closes. If we cannot place the work, you owe us nothing.

  • How do you verify chain of title?+

Before we list, we confirm holdership, review the independent publication or reversion, require a declaration of prior options or claims, and take a warranty of title in the representation agreement.

  • I am a producer. How do I inquire?+

Start at Screen rights, or open any listed title. Send an inquiry from the page — company, rights, intent, and a request for manuscript or materials. We reply from Rights & Acquisitions.
